OUR STORY
Greg and Kim Connolly came to NC in 2005. After 14 years, living near the beach, they decided it was time to head to the mountains. They purchased an abandoned tree farm and set to work. Greg, being an arborist, began the task of removing trees and replanting the property. They spent the first 2 months living in an Airstream down by the creek and decided it would be a great place to camp. The campsites were added in 2023 to complete the work. Greg is also a licensed NC Real Estate Broker and Kim works at a nonprofit for adults with I/DD. They have 2 children, Chloe and Mark, and their resident dog, Vexi.

THE CAMPSITES
The Upper and Lower RV sites have electrical, water and sewer hookups.
Both sites have creek access, picnic table and fire pit area. Across the street are the walking trails that meander around the lower 10 acres of the property. The trails are marked. Hiking shoes are recommended, as the ground can be uneven in spots. The Creek trail leads to the other creek on the property with shaded canopy.

Site 1 (Upper)
The best site ever
Awesome site! Just worked 57 days in a row. My wife and I stayed for 6 days and still can’t keep talking about how wonderful it was. Totally relaxed after our trip. Beautiful setting. Sunset on the mountain was breathtaking!! Owner has chairs on the mountain above site you can walk to and enjoy one of the most beautiful views you will ever see. Also enjoyed the creek right below the site. It’s called a creek but more like a small river. Loved it. Sun, shade, a cool dip. Will go back as soon as we can! Rob. R
